1. About this Credit Guide

This Credit Guide is provided to you in accordance with section 113 of the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (NCCP Act). It contains information about the credit assistance services we provide, our remuneration, conflicts of interest, and our internal and external dispute resolution arrangements.

Rohan Manokaran (Mr Rohan Manokaran, Credit Representative Number 565110) is authorised to engage in credit activities under Australian Credit Licence Number 561324, held by Loans Only Pty Ltd.

4. Credit activities we are authorised to provide

  • Suggest you apply, or assist you in applying, for a particular credit contract with a particular credit provider.
  • Suggest a particular credit contract is suitable, or unsuitable, for you.
  • Provide credit assistance in relation to home loans, investment loans, refinancing, commercial loans, SMSF property loans (LRBAs), construction loans, and equipment finance.

7. Remuneration we receive

We are paid commission by the lender when your loan settles. There is no cost to you. The two types of commission are:

  • Upfront commission — typically 0.55%–0.66% (plus GST) of the loan amount, paid at settlement.
  • Trail commission — typically 0.15%–0.22% (plus GST) per annum on the outstanding loan balance, paid monthly while the loan remains active.

Exact rates vary by lender and product. The specific commissions for the loan we recommend to you are disclosed in writing in our Credit Proposal Disclosure document before you apply.

8. Fees charged to you

Nil. Eternity Mortgage Solutions does not charge fees to borrowers for credit assistance services.

9. Conflicts of interest

We do not own any of the lenders on our panel, and no lender owns or controls us. We are paid commission by the lender. This could create a perceived conflict of interest because lenders pay different commission rates.

We manage this by complying with the Best Interests Duty under the NCCP Act: we must recommend the credit contract that is in your best interests, regardless of commission. The reasoning behind every recommendation is documented in your file and provided to you in writing.

12. Professional indemnity insurance

Loans Only Pty Ltd (ACL 561324) holds professional indemnity insurance that covers credit activities undertaken by its authorised credit representatives, including Rohan Manokaran, in compliance with section 48 of the National Consumer Credit Protection Regulations 2010.

13. Privacy

Information we collect from you is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code 2014.
