Why use one firm for accounting and mortgage broking?
Your tax position and your loan application read each other — add-backs, distributions and deductions all shape serviceability. When the same practitioner sees both, your numbers are presented consistently rather than pieced together across two offices. It is a coordination benefit, not a guarantee of any particular tax or lending outcome.
Can tax structure affect borrowing capacity?
It can. How you are paid, whether you trade through a company or trust, and how distributions are timed all influence the income a lender reads for serviceability. Are accounting and mortgage broking services legally separate?
Yes. The accounting work is provided by Eternity Group Accountants as a registered tax agent (TPB 25523469). The credit assistance is provided by Rohan Manokaran as a Credit Representative (565110) under Australian Credit Licence 561324, held by Loans Only Pty Ltd. Where you engage both, each scope, its fees and its disclosures are set out in writing.
How are mortgage brokers paid?
In most residential lending scenarios, the lender pays broker commission. If a borrower-paid fee applies, it will be disclosed in writing before you proceed, including in any required Credit Quote or credit disclosure document. Our remuneration, lender panel and any conflicts of interest are explained in our Credit Guide.
Do you work with self-employed borrowers?
Yes. We regularly assist sole traders, company directors and trust beneficiaries whose borrowing depends on how the return is prepared and read. We align the tax and lending sides so your real income is presented clearly. Eligibility, lender criteria, fees and charges apply, and outcomes depend on lender assessment.
Do you help property investors?
Yes. We work with property investors on the tax side — rental schedules, depreciation, gearing and CGT cost-base tracking — and on the finance side, weighing the next purchase against the current tax position. Information here is general only; personal tax and credit advice is given inside an engagement.
Do you help with SMSF property loan coordination?
Yes. Where an SMSF buys property under a limited recourse borrowing arrangement (LRBA), the fund’s accounting, compliance and the loan all need to line up. SMSFs are not for everyone and the rules are complex — we coordinate the moving parts and refer to specialists where required. General information only.
Where is Eternity Group based?
We are based at 15 Forest Close, Cherrybrook NSW 2126, serving the Hills District and greater Sydney. Most work is handled by phone, email and video, with in-person meetings at our Cherrybrook office. We have one office and do not operate separate branches in other suburbs.
