In short

Is your accountant and mortgage broker the same person at Eternity Group?

Yes. Eternity Group is led by Rohan Manokaran CA, who holds both sides of the work: a Chartered Accountant and registered Tax Agent (TPB 25523469) for accounting and tax, and a Credit Representative (565110) under Australian Credit Licence 561324 (held by Loans Only Pty Ltd) for credit assistance. The two remain separately regulated services, each scoped in writing, but one practitioner sees the whole picture. The aim is consistency between your tax position and your loan — not a guaranteed outcome on either side.

Rohan Manokaran CA

Chartered Accountant · Registered Tax Agent · Credit Representative (ACL 561324)

Eternity Group exists because Rohan saw — over and over — the same pattern: clients with sophisticated tax structures whose home loans were structured by someone who didn’t understand their tax position. Property investors with negative-gearing strategies whose lenders didn’t know how the structure worked. SMSF property purchases where the accountant and the broker had never spoken to each other.

Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ)Registered Tax Agent · TPB 25523469Credit Rep 565110 · ACL 56132420+ years in practice

Rohan Manokaran has been a practising accountant for 20+ years, working with Australian individuals, families, investors, and business owners through every part of their financial life. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ membership 266544), a registered Tax Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board (Registration 25523469), and a Credit Representative (565110) authorised under Australian Credit Licence 561324 held by Loans Only Pty Ltd.

The fix is structural, not personal: combine accounting and credit-assistance work under one practitioner-led process. When your accounting position and lending pathway are considered together — rather than handed between disconnected professionals — your tax structure and your finance structure are designed together, from day one. The information gaps between professionals that cause rework and mistakes are far less likely to open up.

The practice operates from a single office in Cherrybrook and works with clients across the Hills District and greater Sydney — see the areas we serve for the suburbs we know best.

Why this combination

Tax and lending, considered together.

The same practitioner sees both sides of every decision — so structure, deductions, serviceability and security are scoped in one conversation, not handed back and forth between firms.

Designed together, not stitched together

Your accounting structure and your finance structure are scoped by the same person — not handed off between two firms with different views of your position.

Fewer handover gaps

When both sides of the picture sit in one head, the information gaps that cause rework and mistakes are far less likely to open up.

One integrated view

Property purchases, SMSF strategies, business restructures and refinances are considered once, with your tax position and your lending position both in scope.

Day to day

How the practice actually runs.

A deliberately small, principal-led model — the person you engage is the person who does the work.

There is no client-services layer at Eternity Group. When you call, Rohan answers or calls back. When you ask a question about a return, the person answering is the person who prepared it. Meetings are by appointment — at the Cherrybrook office, by phone or by video — and the working relationship tends to be continuous rather than seasonal: the same practitioner who lodges your return in October is the one you ring in March when a property contract lands on your desk.

Every engagement starts with scope in writing. What the work covers, what it costs and what is needed from you are set out before anything is lodged or submitted — the engagement process and fee approach are published rather than negotiated behind closed doors.

Quality control is built into the same constraint. Because one practitioner carries each file end to end, nothing is signed off that hasn't been personally worked: lodgements are checked back against source documents, loan applications are reconciled against the financials that support them, and anything ambiguous is raised with you before it is submitted — not discovered afterwards.

Both regulators require ongoing education, and the practice treats that as a floor, not a target. CA ANZ membership carries annual continuing professional development obligations; TPB registration sits under the Code of Professional Conduct; and the credit-representative authorisation brings its own training and compliance-review requirements through the licensee. Tax and credit rules change every year — staying current on both sides is a structural part of the job, not an optional extra.

Honest scoping

Who the practice suits — and who it doesn't.

A sole-practitioner model is a strength for some clients and the wrong shape for others. Better to say so upfront.

A strong fit

Where tax and lending intersect

Individuals and families whose tax position and borrowing decisions affect each other — property investors, self-employed borrowers, business owners running on Xero, SMSF trustees, and anyone restructuring who wants the accounting and the finance designed by the same person. Clients who value direct access to the practitioner over the apparatus of a large firm tend to stay for years.

Probably not the right fit

Where a different model serves better

Large entities needing statutory audit — the practice doesn't perform audits. Anyone seeking personal financial product advice, such as which investments to buy — that is licensed financial advice, which sits outside both registrations here. And if what you want is the cheapest possible lodgement with no conversation attached, a volume operation will do that more cheaply than a principal-led file review ever can.

Common questions

About Eternity Group and Rohan Manokaran.

What qualifications and registrations does Rohan Manokaran hold?

Rohan Manokaran is a Chartered Accountant (member of CA ANZ), a registered Tax Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board (registration 25523469), and a Credit Representative (565110) authorised under Australian Credit Licence 561324, held by Loans Only Pty Ltd. He is also a member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA). These cover the two separately regulated sides of the practice — accounting and tax, and credit assistance.

Are the accounting and credit-assistance services legally separate?

Yes. The accounting and tax work is provided by Eternity Group Accountants as a registered tax agent; the credit assistance is provided by Rohan Manokaran as a Credit Representative under an Australian Credit Licence held by Loans Only Pty Ltd. They are separate regulated activities. Where you engage both, each scope, its fees and its disclosures are set out in writing. Information here is general only and is not personal tax, credit or financial advice.

Who actually does the work on my file?

Rohan does. Eternity Group is deliberately a principal-led practice: the person you meet is the person who prepares your return, reviews your Xero file or structures your loan application. There is no handoff to a junior team or an offshore processing centre, and no account manager sitting between you and the practitioner. That model has a natural ceiling on volume — which is exactly the point. Every engagement is scoped in writing before work begins, and every lodgement is reviewed against source documents before it goes to the ATO.

Do I need to be near Cherrybrook to work with Eternity Group?

No. The office is at Cherrybrook in the Hills District and many clients are local, but tax agent services are routinely delivered by phone, video and secure document exchange, and lender identity-verification requirements for credit assistance can generally be met remotely or through approved channels. Distance is rarely the deciding factor — fit is. If your situation involves both a tax position and a lending decision, geography matters far less than having one practitioner across both.
